Kevin Taylor is taking on the Reading Half Marathon this year in support of Berkshire Vision, as part of Trentham Bowling Club’s Charity of the Year partnership.
Kevin is an ever-present participant in the Reading Half and has been involved with the event since the very beginning. Over the years it has become an important annual tradition for him and something he looks forward to each year.
“The first event in 1983 gave me such a buzz,” Kevin said. “I realised it was something that meant a lot to me every year. It’s been a constant in my adult life.”
This year he’s using the challenge to help raise awareness and funds for us at Berkshire Vision, helping us support Blind and Visually Impaired children and adults across the county.
Kevin’s run is part of a bigger partnership with Trentham Bowling Club, who have selected Berkshire Vision as their charity of the year.
