Dayzie’s bell boating challenge for Take on 250

Dayzie is wearing an orange t shirt and holding a long white cane. Words in the corner read Take on 250

On 5th May, Dayzie, who is blind, will be bell boating on the Thames at Bisham Abbey for 250 minutes (just over 4 hours) to raise awareness that every day in the UK 250 people begin to lose their sight, as well as raising much needed funds for Berkshire Vision.

To help her she’ll be joined by Berkshire Vision staff, and some other visually impaired teenagers that are supported by Berkshire Vision.

Always one to take on an epic challenge, Dayzie plans to stay in the boat for the whole 250 minutes, with other team members swapping in and out.
