Join Team Berkshire Vision for one of the area’s most popular community fundraising events, the Maidenhead Boundary Walk, organised by Maidenhead Rotary Club.

Taking place on Sunday 4th October 2026, this well-established event brings together hundreds of walkers each year to raise money for causes close to their hearts, all while enjoying a fantastic day out in the Berkshire countryside.

Why take part?

The Boundary Walk is a brilliant opportunity to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and make a real difference. The route follows the historic boundary of Maidenhead, taking in riverside paths, green spaces and some of the most scenic parts of the local area.

There are options to suit everyone:

  • Take on the full 13.1-mile challenge
  • A shorter, family-friendly route

Whether you are aiming for a personal challenge or simply want a relaxed walk with others, it is a welcoming and inclusive event for all ages and abilities.

Walk for Berkshire Vision

We are excited to be taking part again in 2026 after a fantastic turnout last year, where our supporters made a huge impact, including being the top fundraising charity at the event.

It was brilliant to see members of our community getting involved, including visually impaired participants like Matthew Crook, David Beynon and Graham Cauldwell, alongside many other incredible walkers who took on the challenge and helped raise vital funds.

Make a difference

By joining Team Berkshire Vision, you will be helping us continue to support children and adults with visual impairment across Berkshire. Every step you take and every pound you raise helps fund life-changing services, activities and support.

You’ll receive:

  • Support with your fundraising
  • Guidance and encouragement from our team
  • The chance to be part of a supportive and inspiring group on the day

Get involved

The walk starts at Boulter’s Lock in Maidenhead, with staggered start times between 9:00am and 10:30am.

Sign up, bring your friends or family, and be part of something special.
